Łódź Legion Commit Forward Jackson Wojcicki

The Łódź Legion are proud to announce the commitment of forward Jackson Wojcicki for the upcoming season.

Originally from Kirkland, Washington, Wojcicki joins the Legion following an impressive four-year ACHA career with Western Washington University, where he established himself as a respected leader both on and off the ice. Serving as Assistant Captain during both his junior and senior seasons, Jackson played an important role in helping set the standard within the program while balancing the demands of collegiate hockey and academics.

Now, after completing his undergraduate degree, Wojcicki is taking the next step in his journey by continuing both his education and hockey career in Europe.

For Jackson, the opportunity to play in Poland carries special significance.

“After completing four years of ACHA hockey while earning my undergraduate degree, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue both my education and hockey career in Europe. As someone with Polish heritage, it is especially meaningful to pursue a master’s degree while playing in Poland and representing my family’s roots. Combining graduate studies with the chance to continue playing the game I love makes this an incredible opportunity.”

The Legion coaching staff are excited to welcome Jackson to the organization and believe his experience, maturity, and leadership qualities will make an immediate impact within the locker room.

“Jackson embodies exactly what we’re looking for in a Legion student-athlete,” said the coaching staff. “He has proven himself as a leader throughout his collegiate career, understands what it takes to balance academics and athletics, and brings a tremendous work ethic to our program. We are excited to have him aboard and look forward to him taking on a leadership role within our team.”

As the Legion continue building a culture centered around academic excellence, player development, and leadership, Wojcicki’s commitment represents another important addition to the program.
