Łódź Legion Expands Recruiting Efforts to Western Canada Following Successful NCDC Showcase

The Łódź Legion Hockey Club is proud to announce that, following a highly productive showing at the recent NCDC President’s Day Showcase in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Director of Hockey Operations Kyle Lambourne is turning his scouting focus to Western Canada in search of student-athletes eager to combine elite hockey development with a European university education.

The showcase, hosted by the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), brought together top junior talent from across North America. Lambourne’s attendance strengthened relationships with coaches, advisors, and players while highlighting the growing opportunities available through the Łódź Legion’s unique study-and-play model in Poland.

“The NCDC Showcase reaffirmed the high level of talent and character in North American junior hockey,” said Lambourne. “We’re now focusing on Western Canada — a region known for its strong hockey culture — to identify players who want to continue competing at a high level while earning a respected European degree.”
