ŁÓDŹ LEGION HOCKEY ADD AMERICAN SPEED WITH TYLER KNOPP

Tyler Knopp Commits to Łódź Legion for 2026–27 EUCHL Season

ŁÓDŹ, POLAND — The Łódź Legion is proud to announce that forward Tyler Knopp of Cumming, Georgia, has committed to join the club for its inaugural 2026–27 European Union College Hockey League season. The 2008-born forward comes to Poland from the 95 Giants u18 AAA program, bringing high-end speed and relentless energy to a Legion roster being built for immediate impact.

Knopp developed his game in one of the United States' most respected AAA organizations, where he built a reputation as a tireless worker capable of influencing play at both ends of the ice. Scouts consistently praise his elite conditioning and motor, noting that he can maintain top speed shift after shift without sacrificing effectiveness. His ability to pressure opposing defenses, create turnovers in transition, and contribute in all three zones makes him an ideal fit for the Legion's up-tempo style of play. Head coach, Dylan Row praised Knopp's skating ability and compete level as exactly the type of foundation the club is seeking as it establishes its identity in European college hockey.

The chance to develop as both a player and a student in a vibrant European city like Łódź provides a compelling alternative for those looking to broaden their horizons without sacrificing competitive hockey or educational quality. The Legion's mission—Developing Players. Building Character. Redefining the College Hockey Experience.—is built precisely for players like Knopp who are ready to embrace something different.

"We're thrilled to welcome Tyler to the Łódź Legion family," the club said in a statement. "His skating, his work ethic, and his top end speed align perfectly with what we're building here. Tyler represents the type of player who will thrive in our environment, and we're excited to watch him grow both on the ice."

Welcome to the Legion
