Łódź Legion to Partner with Base Camp Student Dorms

Łódź, Poland — The Łódź Legion are proud to announce a new partnership with Basecamp Student, a premier private student residence in Łódź, Poland, further strengthening the club’s commitment to providing a first-class student-athlete experience both on and off the ice.
Basecamp is a modern, privately operated dormitory that accommodates over 620 international students from around the world. The facility offers a wide range of high-quality amenities designed to support both academic success and athletic performance, including on-site laundry facilities, a fully equipped 24/7 gym, secure living spaces, and vibrant communal areas that foster a strong international student community.
As part of the partnership process, Łódź Legion Director of Hockey Operations, Kyle Lambourne, recently completed an on-site tour of the Basecamp facility. Lambourne was highly impressed with the standard of accommodation and the extensive amenities available to Legion student-athletes.
“Basecamp provides exactly the type of environment we want for our players,” said Lambourne. “The quality of the facilities, combined with the convenience and overall student-focused design, makes this an outstanding housing option for our athletes coming to Łódź.”
An additional advantage of Basecamp is its close proximity to university faculty buildings, allowing student-athletes to attend classes within walking distance of their residence. The dorms are also strategically located with easy access to public transportation, including both local and intercity transit, making travel throughout Łódź and beyond simple and efficient.
This partnership reflects the Łódź Legion’s continued focus on supporting the holistic development of its players—ensuring they have access to top-tier housing, academic resources, and lifestyle amenities while competing and studying in Europe.
