Legion Adds Offensive Talent from Cega'kin Nakota Nation Nicholas Rollindmud!

ŁÓDŹ, POLAND — The Łódź Legion announced today the commitment of right wing Nicholas Rollinmud for the 2026–27 season, adding another piece to their roster as the club prepares for the inaugural campaign of the European Union College Hockey League. The Saskatchewan native becomes the latest addition to a program built on the foundation of developing players, building character, and redefining the college hockey experience.

Rollinmud, 21, most recently suited up for the Calgary Bandits, where he established himself as a dynamic offensive threat with excellent skating ability and high-end skill. The 2005-born forward brings a creative element to the Legion's attack, possessing the vision and playmaking ability that should translate well to the European ice surface. Head coach and general manager, Dylan Row view him as a player who can contribute immediately in offensive situations while continuing to develop the complete two-way game that modern hockey demands.

"Nicholas is exactly the type of player we want representing the Łódź Legion," said team management in a statement. "His skating and creativity will be assets on the larger ice surface, and we're confident he'll find offensive success here while growing as a complete player. He's committed to his development both on and off the ice, which aligns perfectly with our program's values."

The EUCHL represents a unique opportunity for Rollinmud and his teammates, combining elite hockey competition with academic partnerships at top universities in Łódź. The league offers North American players the chance to continue their hockey careers while pursuing higher education in a European setting, experiencing different cultures and playing styles that can only enhance their development. For a creative player like Rollinmud, the international experience and exposure to different hockey philosophies could prove invaluable.
