The Legion Add Canadian Forward Peter Fox!
Peter Fox Commits to Łódź Legion for 2026–27 EUCHL Season
The Łódź Legion is pleased to announce that right wing Peter Fox has committed to the club for the inaugural 2026–27 EUCHL season. The 21-year-old forward from Mînî Thnî, Alberta, brings a competitive edge and offensive potential that will bolster the Legion's lineup as the organization prepares for its debut campaign in the European Union College Hockey League.
Fox comes to Łódź after playing for the Crowsnest Crush, where he developed a reputation as a hard-nosed competitor who isn't afraid to do the dirty work in all three zones. His willingness to battle along the boards and engage physically makes him an ideal fit for the Legion's identity as a program committed to developing complete hockey players. Despite his gritty playing style, Fox possesses legitimate offensive tools that should translate well to the EUCHL level. The coaching staff project him to develop into a reliable two-way forward capable of contributing in all situations while maintaining defensive responsibility.
The EUCHL represents a unique opportunity for players like Fox to continue their hockey development while pursuing quality education through the Legion's academic partnerships with Łódź's premier universities. The European experience offers more than just competitive hockey—it provides cultural immersion and international perspective that will serve these young athletes throughout their lives. For Fox, the combination of high-level hockey competition and academic advancement in one of Poland's most vibrant university cities made Łódź an attractive destination as he charts his path forward both on and off the ice.
"We're excited to welcome Peter to the Łódź Legion family," said Head Coach, Dylan Row. "He embodies the characteristics we're looking for as we build this program—competitiveness, character, and a genuine desire to develop as both a player and a person. His willingness to play a complete game while still providing offensive production makes him exactly the type of player who will thrive in our system."
As the Legion continues assembling its roster for the historic inaugural EUCHL season, Fox's commitment represents another significant step forward for a club dedicated to developing players, building character, and redefining the college hockey experience. The Łódź faithful can look forward to watching Fox compete when the puck drops on the 2026–27 campaign.
